  Newly Rebuilt, 1912 50 HP Chain Drive Simplex, with newly machined 356 aluminum alloy crankcase. The original case and transmission-differential case are prone to cracking and failure

and were cast of an alloy that is not weldable. Unless they can

be stabilized by metal stitching this is the only remedy.

  The Simplex 50 is 5.75 x 5.75 - 600 CI - 4 spd. trans. with

double chain drive. They are one of the legendary early cars in

this country that went on to much racing  success.
